Bill Dunster.
Bill is determined to develop the competition site at Landrake both sustainably and affordably. It is to be for local people, built by local people and using local materials. CSBT is to have an active role in the development and will use it as part of our sustainable skills training programme. We are also hoping to film it and Bill is proposing to build up a sort of sustainable builder's version of the Hayne's Manual using this development. University of Exeter and Cornwall College will be involved in monitoring the energy budgets of the properties in use. It is hoped to incorporate an electric car share scheme into the development powered by renewable energy generated on site.
